Scope:
Audiovisual design, including speakers, wireless microphones, video displays, a projector, video camera, intercom, and control systems. We provided services from design through construction, including reviewing submittals, answering field questions, and system commissioning.
Challenges:
The auditorium holds 1,000 people and does not have ideal shaping for sound reinforcement. SSA had to design a speaker system for complete coverage, and a display system capable of managing signals between displays while scaling to each display. The project budget was limited.
Solutions:
We specified a cost-effective speaker array system for the main speakers, with support speakers in the back of the house. This ensured uniform coverage while remaining within budget, which allowed inclusion of the video system, which was an added alternate bid.
